excellent restaurant quick elevators neat room
The location is fantastic! I found many excellent restaurants within a quick five-minute walk. I really appreciated the quick elevators. The restaurant on the first floor is also excellent, plus, the housekeeping staff kept the room very neat!

friendly staff amazing view
The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they inquired about my visit. The cafe off the lobby was quite convenient. The rooftop bar has amazing views of the downtown skyline. It was a highlight.
The water pressure in the shower could have been better.

early check-in simple card
the location was acceptable.
My room was not ready at the normal check-in time, so i didn't get the early check-in i was promised. i also mentioned i was celebrating a special occasion, but the hotel did nothing to acknowledge it. it was disappointing. They could have at least left a simple card.

Acceptable, but some issues
late cleaning unfriendly staff
The rooftop was nice.
The room felt very small. The cleaning was done late, after 4 pm on several occasions, which i felt was INCONVENIENT. i did not think that the staff were particularly friendly or helpful. i was disappointed.

Solid Stay with Great Access
convenient coffee shop friendly staff excellent service
I appreciated the convenient coffee shop located in the lobby area, it made mornings easier. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service . I could easily walk to the West Village, SoHo, and Chelsea areas from THE hotel.
Elevators were SO slow at times, causing some delays.

The location allows easy subway access from both JFK and Penn Station, simplifying transportation. It is a short walk to shopping on Spring Street, providing retail convenience. Hudson Park is close, perfect for morning jogs with many others.

The room featured really good central heating, maintaining a comfortable temperature, especially important given the cold weather. The room offered a spacious layout suitable for two guests. I had a view of the Hudson River each day.

convenient soho base
professional staff river view
the staff were warm and professional and they accommodated requests. the hotel has a boutique feel because it has eight rooms per floor. i enjoyed waking up to the hudson river view each day.
the room lacks hanging facilities for outdoor clothes and the wardrobe is not good for long clothes or dresses. the secondary blinds have been removed so the room is very light now and that disturbed my sleep. we are still awaiting the refund of our sundries charge which i find unacceptably high.

the coffee shop is cozy and offers complimentary coffee to hotel guests. the hotel includes a rooftop bar and the elevators are always busy because of that amenity. there is a gym available but is small.

the café in the lobby had very good breakfast available at late checkout. they only offer flavored coffee in the room now. the famous "ear bar" across the street is nice for a drink or meal and a bodega also has great takeout food.

the front desk and staff were super nice and brought towels up quickly when asked. the staff were also warm and helpful. refreshing the room was challenging. the staff are very friendly and apologetic.

rooms are large and i had a hudson river view. the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. the room had only one plug on the desk with an ethernet port and no usb ports. shower heads are poorly calibrated.

Fantastic Stay with Hudson River Views!
clean hotel comfortable bed quiet room friendly staff
I loved the hotel. It was very clean. We enjoyed walking to the Meat Packing District and SoHo. The front desk staff was super nice. They brought towels right up when we asked. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable!
I noticed the hotel is aging, and could use some revamping. I still found my stay enjoyable.

The hotel has a café in the lobby, serving a very good breakfast. It was available even at a late checkout. Coffee and tea are complimentary for all guests which I found very convenient. There's also a deli nearby open 24 hours.

The staff was friendly and helpful everywhere, including the front desk and the restaurant. I appreciated the 12 PM checkout time, as other places sometimes offer an earlier time. They quickly provided extra towels when we needed them.

This spot is in a convenient location between Tribeca and the West Village! Subway access is easy and only about a 6-minute walk away. SoHo is within walking distance, allowing me to easily explore.
